Looking Back
The songs on this CD were selected from Grateful We’re Not Dead shows and practices recorded between January 2018 and February 2020. Seeing as these were recorded live you can expect to hear the occasional glitch.
Recording was done on a ZOOM LiveTrak L-12 Mixer/Recorder. The tracks were edited and mixed using Cubase 11. Mastering was done online at Major Decibel.

The Boys In The Band
About Our Cover of Eleven Roses
The original version of Eleven Roses consisted of one verse and one chorus. When Don and Bruce started going to Jack’s Jam in Plevna, Ontario in 2015 to play in the house band they met the late Lionel Grimard who played bass in the band. One of the songs that Lionel frequently sang was Eleven Roses and he had written a second verse which gave a nice finish to the song. Don expressed an interest in the song and Lionel suggested we add it to the Grateful We’re Not Dead repertoire.
